Johannes Klare is a charismatic preacher of a free church, which he leads together with his wife Lydia. As a work of charity, they take the drug-addicted street musician Simon into their home. Simon’s homosexuality, with which he sins in the eyes of the Free Church, is to be “healed” with the help of faith. But in John, the closeness to Simon awakens a long suppressed desire. When he gives in to temptation, it plunges him into a deep conflict.
